Family and Individual Supports for Young People
Natasha Tatartcheff-Quesnel, MSW, RSW, specializes in Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), a trauma informed evidenced-based practice that helps improve relationships. Informed by neuroscience, the approach has been proven to improve parent-child relationships and develop skills in young people where more conventional/behavior modification approaches have been unsuccessful. The increase in skills in the areas of language and communication, emotion and self-regulation, attention & working memory, social skills and cognitive flexibility lead to a reduction in undesired behavior and stress.
Natasha helps caregivers to listen and understand the young people in their lives. This leads to a reduction in stress and conflict, builds or restores the familial bonds and helps everyone work through challenges collaboratively.
